Our story

We grew up in a rural environment and spent our days playing on farms, in forests, on wild beaches and in small stable yards. Many family weekends at gymkhanas, county fairs, ploughing matches and visiting grandparents who lived in a big old farmhouse, grew their own vegetables, loved horticulture, bird-watching and had a strong community spirit.

For years our grandfather worked on a community project establishing a working farm for disabled adults ( he was awarded an OBE for services to agriculture in recognition of his work). We supported many charity events and my grandmother could always be found behind the tea urn, spreading her infectious warmth to hands and hearts.

We believe that these humble beginnings have shaped our passion for nature, animals and the outdoors. Appreciating the countryside and fresh air, giving us a real sense of community and the ability to be happy in ourselves and embrace difference.

These values have also shaped our brand, we want to celebrate love, family, strength and spirit. To shape the future, by looking to the past, to embrace traditions that challenge us to become more sustainable.

We have an unwavering love for our horses, a passion shared by our family past and present. We cannot imagine a life without horses, dirty boots and messy hair!

It is this combined love of horses and nature that has sparked our interest in wine. Having lived in France for over 10 years I am still amazed by the vast number of vineyards. There are so many different wines to enjoy and a growing number of producers returning to using horses in the vines and producing biodynamic wine.

We are celebrating this change through our images and our playful slogans. From the elegance of dressage to the power of working horses, from young riders to experienced professionals, from large wine houses to small local producers. There are many factors that shape us, like a good wine requires grapes that develop well and produce good quality fruit, or young horses that need time and patience to learn.

Inspire change, be kind, be you, we are all a product of our environment.

Be the change you want to see in the world.
